MIUI 14 Launch
Along with the launch of the 13 series, Xiaomi introduced MIUI 14. As a part of Xiaomi’s custom MIUI, users can now link multiple Xiaomi devices together, share large files, use test recognition on-device, manage large folders, and compress app data to optimize the system app with the latest version of MIUI. Say cheese to take a picture, a guarding watermark, a sidebar, and other incredible features are also added.
MIUI 14 Characteristics
To improve the OS’s functionality on smartphones, the MIUI 14 has been optimized. Smart ROM Optimisation, which may reduce cached storage by up to 3GB over three months, is one of these new optimization features. Also, the system storage has been decreased so that devices with 128GB of storage may now use up to 4GB of additional storage that has become available.
Along with the MIUI, the OS’s Interface has been completely redesigned to give it a more modern look. New card-style widgets and six new backgrounds are available. Also, according to the company, animations are now “smoother” and experience less “friction” while utilizing larger or heavier files or programs.
The company claims that system changes that have led to reduced boot-up memory have made the new MIUI start-up quicker. Moreover, up to 19 system programs, including the camera, clock, messaging, etc., use up to 11 percent less RAM while running on the new MIUI.
