A list of devices that can be upgraded to MIUI 14 was published by Xiaomi earlier this week. As a part of its software update timeline, its sub-brand Poco is also sharing Poco MIUI 14 with consumers. Poco will be utilizing Xiaomi’s MIUI software for its smartphones, and over the next quarters, users of Poco devices will eventually be able to upgrade to the new MIUI 14 version, which is based on Android 13. Most Poco devices in India will likely receive the latest MIUI 14 version, as it has a variety of budget, mid-range, and performance devices.

Poco appears to have covered pretty much all the popular devices. The first device to get the MIUI 14-based Android 13 upgrade will be the Poco X5 Pro 5G. In the first quarter of 2023, it will be implemented. The F4 5G, F3 GT, X3 Pro, M5, M4 5G, and C55 are just a few of the six POCO devices that will be released in the second quarter of this year, or the time frame between April and June. In Q3 2022, from July to September, the company will deliver the software upgrade for the POCO M4 Pro, X4 Pro 5G, and M4 Pro 5G.

MIUI 14

About MIUI 14, it offers choices for tabular icons, large folders, and widgets on its considerably overhauled home screen. Another layout that displays information effectively and logically is in the form of cards. Xiaomi has reduced the size of MIUI 14 by 4GB and optimized the system resources. With the help of a new OS function, storage space is made available by automatically compressing infrequently used programs. The MIUI 14 enables seamless communication between a smartphone and tablet with a single click on the taskbar. The ability to drag & drop files between devices is also available. However, Xiaomi has made extensive improvements in many aspects. It still needs to work on rolling out the new version of the MIUI interface quickly, which is the main flaw of Xiaomi.
