Realme’s new affordable C series smartphone has made its official debut in India. The Realme C55 is a budget-friendly smartphone with the brand’s novel Mini Capsule feature, which functions similarly to Apple’s Dynamic Island. Before it, this month’s Realme C33 had just been released.
The MediaTek Helio G88 SoC and Mali G52 GPU power the Realme C55. The smartphone has a 6.72-inch screen that is 680 nits bright. This is the first C-Series model with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. Realme has employed a dual-camera module on the back with a primary 64-megapixel camera and a depth sensor. An 8-megapixel front-facing camera is available for taking selfies.
The phone is powered by Android 13 with Realme UI 4.0 on top. A side-mounted fingerprint reader and a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W charging are also included.

The introductory 4GB/64GB edition of the Realme C55 is available for purchase in India for Rs 10,999. Additional Realme C55 variants include 6GB/64GB and 8GB/128GB models, which cost Rs 11,999 and Rs 13,999, respectively. Beginning on March 28, Realme Store and Flipkart will offer the Realme C55 for purchase in India. On realme.com, there is a bank offer of up to Rs 1000; on Flipkart, there is an exchange discount of Rs 1000 when you place a pre-order. Sunshower and Rainy Night are the two colour options for the Realme C55.
