In a bold step toward empowering young minds in the digital age, Target Learning Ventures Pvt. Ltd., in collaboration with Cyberfrat, hosted an immersive Cyber Safety Awareness Webinar designed to equip students with the tools and mindset needed to navigate today’s online threats responsibly.
Held on online platform, the event brought together students, educators, and parents for an engaging session filled with real-world insights, interactive discussions, and case studies. The focus was on building digital hygiene, recognizing cyber risks, and promoting safe online behaviour in an increasingly connected digital world.
Dilip Gangaramani, Founder Director & CEO of Target Learning Ventures Pvt. Ltd., emphasized the urgency of digital education in schools. “Cyber safety has moved beyond being a best practice and is now a core component of digital literacy. Through this initiative, we aim to nurture not just smart students, but responsible and resilient digital citizens,” said Gangaramani. “Our collaboration with Cyberfrat is a testament to our commitment to holistic education in the 21st century.”
The session, led by Gautam S Mengle, AVP & Cyber Awareness Strategist at Cyberfrat, offered eye-opening information on password protection, phishing attacks, social media vulnerabilities, and the importance of two-factor authentication. This was one of the many activities that Cyberfrat offers under its CSR initiative, The Digital Kiddo, aimed at children aged below 12 years and senior citizens. “Children are exposed to digital spaces from a very early age, often before they understand the risks involved,” said Mengle. “Awareness, too, should be customized to fit the target groups and delivered in a language that the audience understands, which is one of the foundations of our efforts at Cyberfrat.”
The workshop concluded with a Q&A session and important government cyber safety website information for all attendees, ensuring they left not just informed but empowered.
With cyber safety becoming a cornerstone of digital literacy, this initiative marks a promising beginning in preparing India’s youth for a secure digital future.
