On March 30, Xiaomi released the Redmi Note 12 4G & Redmi 12C in India. Both of these smartphones are entry-level models.
The new Redmi Note 12 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 SoC. With a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz, the device’s 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display is featured. The display has a Full-HD+ resolution and a full brightness of 1200 nits.
The phone’s setup includes a 50MP primary camera on the back, an 8MP ultra-wide camera lens, and a 2MP macro camera. The front of the smartphone sports a 13MP camera for selfies and video calls. The smartphone’s operating system is MIUI 14, based on Android 13. The 5,000mAh battery and 33watt adapter are both included with the IP53-rated Redmi Note 12 device.
The Redmi 12C is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 processor and runs on the Android 12 operating system (MIUI 13). Five hundred nits of maximum brightness are available on the smartphone’s 6.71-inch HD+ screen. A 60Hz frame rate is available on display.
A 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging and has a mini USB port powers the device. The phone has a 50MP primary camera on the rear for taking pictures. It comes with a 5MP front-facing camera.

Starting at noon on April 6th, both devices will be offered for purchase on Flipkart, Amazon, the Mi website, Mi Home shops, and other retail locations. If they swap their old devices, Xiaomi supporters receive a loyalty incentive of an extra Rs 500 off on both phones.
The 6GB/64GB model of the Redmi Note 12 4G costs Rs 14,999 in India, while the 6GB/128GB model costs Rs 16,999. Ice Blue, Sunrise Gold, and Lunar Black are the color options for the phone.
The Redmi 12C will cost Rs 8,999 for the 4GB/64GB variant and Rs 10,999 for the 6GB/128GB model. The phone is available in mint green, royal blue, lavender purple, matte black, and more colors. In addition, there is a bank offer of a Rs 500 discount.
