Redmi, Samsung, and Tecno introduced the most smartphones in January 2023, each with three units, followed by Inifinix, iQOO, OPPO, Poco, and Realme, each with one unit. February Smartphone Launches
Comparatively to the same month last year, thirteen OEMs introduced 24 smartphones. This month, 21 smartphones were released. In February 2022, Samsung was the company that released the most smartphones; however, in February 2023, Samsung was also among the OEMs that released the most smartphones. With three smartphones apiece, Samsung and Infinix are the two OEMs that released the most in February, followed by Vivo, Lava, Poco, and OnePlus with two each. In February 2023, Qualcomm will be the most popular chipset OEMs use to introduce smartphones, as in February 2022.
March Smartphone Launches
In contrast to the same month last year, when 11 OEMs introduced 27 smartphones, 10 OEMs announced 18 smartphones this month. In March 2022 and March 2023, Samsung introduced the most smartphones. Samsung was the manufacturer of most smartphones. With three smartphones released in March, Samsung was the only OEM to do so. Realme, Vivo, Itel, Redmi, Tecno, and Motorola each released two smartphones. In March, OEMs launched the majority of their smartphones using MediaTek chipsets.
