  • It marks the global launch of the Tecno Phantom X2 series on December 7th, 2022.
  • It will feature MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor.

A majority of Tecno’s phones are in the midrange. With the Phantom X, Tecno introduced its most premium smartphone to date. Its display and camera were its main highlights. With the coming sequel, Tecno will come up with its most powerful phone yet and is expected to come equipped with top-notch specifications.

December 7 will be the day when the Tecno Phantom X2 series will be officially unveiled. Tecno Phantom X2 and Tecno Phantom X2 Pro are expected to be in the X2 family, and no other details aside from the chipset are known.

The MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC is expected to power the Tecno Phantom X2 and Tecno Phantom X2 Pro models with three fast Cortex-X2 cores at 3 GHz, four power-efficient cores at 1.8 GHz, and one fast Cortex-X2 core at 3 GHz. Tecno will offer improved image-capturing capabilities, according to the teaser. As a result of these enhancements, multi-exposure and complex HDR shooting modes will be available, improving the shooting experience in low light levels.

In addition, the family will feature a top-end SoC built using TSMC’s 4nm process node that promises higher performance and less power consumption than previous models.

Last May, Tecno Phantom X was launched in India at Rs. 25,999 for one variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Furthermore, the smartphone supports virtual RAM expansion for up to 5GB and fast charging of up to 33W.
