In a significant boost to its growing urban infrastructure portfolio, Ceinsys Tech Ltd. (CS TECH Ai) has been appointed as the Project Management Consultant (PMC) by the Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) for the city’s upcoming sewage system upgrade.

Valued at ₹5.81 crore, the project is part of Nashik’s broader vision to prepare the city for future growth, population pressures, and major events like the Kumbh Mela. Executed under the Public-Private Partnership Hybrid Annuity Model (PPP-HAM), the initiative aims to modernise and expand critical sewage and wastewater facilities, safeguarding public health and the city’s environment.

CS TECH Ai’s role will include comprehensive project oversight including planning, coordinating multiple contractors, and ensuring quality control, to tracking progress and meeting crucial deadlines. The work covers four sewage treatment plants, a decentralised Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) unit, upgrades at 27 pumping stations, and the extension of Nashik’s sewer network. A new SCADA-enabled command centre will be set up at the NMC headquarters to allow real-time monitoring and better management of the city’s sewage infrastructure in the years to come.

Importantly, the Nagpur based firm will continue to supervise the operations and maintenance of the new system for the next 25 years. This long-term involvement ensures that the infrastructure consistently meets the standards set by the National Green Tribunal (NGT) while supporting Nashik’s sustainability goals.

This mandate comes on the heels of CS TECH Ai’s recent win with the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA), where it is delivering a ₹115 crore real-time monitoring platform for the region’s transport and infrastructure assets.

“These recent mandates, from MMRDA to NMC, reflect a growing recognition of CS TECH Ai as a strategic partner in building next-generation urban infrastructure. As cities evolve to meet rising environmental and service delivery demands, we are bringing in the engineering scale, systems thinking, and digital capability needed to drive that transformation.” – Prashant Kamat, CEO, CS TECH Ai.

Together, these consecutive urban wins highlight CS TECH Ai’s deep experience in managing complex city projects including ground-level execution to long-term digital oversight. The company’s focus on combining engineering strength with modern monitoring systems is helping Indian cities adapt to growing urbanisation, environmental mandates, and the need for resilient public services.

With Nashik’s project, the BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange) listed entity, CS TECH Ai once again demonstrates its ability to deliver large-scale infrastructure solutions that can stand the test of time and a commitment that has become central to its growing reputation as a trusted partner for city planners and development authorities across India.
